Thamsanqa Gabuza, the striker for SuperSport United, has enlisted the services of a new agent at the age of 35, indicating that he has no plans to slow down.
Despite being on the periphery of the squad this season under Gavin Hunt, the seasoned forward featured in six of the team's last seven league games.
During their Nedbank Cup exit at the hands of Dondol Stars, Gabuza even played as a center-back.
Although a January move to Stellenbosch did not materialize, he has scored 22 goals and provided seven assists in 113 games for the Tshwane-based outfit, who are vying for second place and a CAF Champions League berth this season.
Gabuza had previously claimed that Orlando Pirates Chairman Irvin Khoza was his 'agent' who had secured his transfer to Matsatsansa, but he has now teamed up with Pro Sports International, owned by Mike Makaab, one of South Africa's most prominent agents.
It appears that his latest move indicates his intention to continue his career for a while longer.
