The Administration Manager of Orlando Pirates, Floyd Mbele, who had been with the team for a long time, has departed from the club, as confirmed by the team.
According to the iDiski Times, Mbele had previously been placed on special leave due to a dispute with management.
Mbele and Stanley Tshabalala had both been instrumental in the management structure of the Soweto giants, having recruited players and technical staff over the past decade.
However, the team seems to be moving in a different direction now that Mbele's departure has been confirmed through their official website.
The statement read, "Orlando Pirates has accepted the resignation of the club's Administration Manager Mr Floyd Mbele.
The Club Management wishes him the best in his future endeavors." Mbele is expected to join Sekhukhune United, a possible new club in the DStv Premiership.
