The Premier Soccer League prosecutor, Zola Majavu, has accused TS Galaxy of neglecting their duty to present a substitution board during a recent home game.
TS Galaxy has encountered both on-field and off-field challenges this season, with indications from within the club suggesting financial difficulties for their chairman, Tim Sukazi, and his team, resulting in payment disputes with players.
Despite these issues, TS Galaxy has maintained their performance on the field, earning 17 points in 13 games since the 2022 FIFA World Cup break.
However, Gallants once again made headlines off the field and had to face the PSL Disciplinary Committee for their failure to provide an electronic substitution board.
"TS Galaxy appeared before the PSL DC to answer charges of failing to meet their obligation to provide an electronic substitution board during their home match, as required by the PSL guidelines and football manual," Majavu explained.
"They pleaded guilty to the charges, and as a result, they were fined R40,000, with half of the fine suspended on the condition that they do not commit the same offense again during the suspension period. They were also ordered to pay the DC sittings."
