With a possible cross to Kaizer Chiefs on the cards for Sekhukhune United midfielder Yusuf Maart, a choice is expected on a few other gamers from the crew after a respectable first season in the topflight for the Gauteng-based Limpopo outfit.

As stated earlier, worries had been raised about Luckyboy Mokoena’s future with Babina Noko, with the player having struggled for game-time in the crew under coach MacDonald Makhubedu.

Having joined the crew in January, after parting methods with TS Galaxy, Mokoena failed to make a single appearance for Babina Noko regardless of his high hopes about reviving his profession at the club. News reaching the Siya crew is that the 28-year-old right-back is set to end the season on the sidelines after being deemed surplus to requirements. In becoming a member of Sekhukhune, Mokoena signed a short-term contract which is set to expire at the stop of subsequent month, with the warning signs from the club that the deal is not likely to be renewed. Meanwhile, veteran goalkeeper Tapuwa Kapini is another player going through unsure future with the club after ending the season on the sidelines. After making three appearances at the resume of the season, the 37-year-old Zimbabwean didn’t get some other chance as Zambian shot-stopper Toaster Nsabata made the team’s number one jersey his own, while the club’s third desire goalkeeper Ayanda Dlamini performed in two matches all through the DStv Premiership campaign. However, Nsabata, who is 28 year old is one of the three keepers nominated for the DStv Premiership Goalkeeper of the Season award alongside Cape Town City’s Hugo Marques and Veli Mothwa from AmaZulu.
